BRIDGEPORT, WV – West Virginia Junior College student Teirra Harris decided to attend the school because it’s close to home and she liked that she could complete a program in 18 months instead of two to four years.
Teirra’s favorite part about attending WVJC is having only two or three classes every six weeks.
She chose to major in medical office administration.
“I chose this major because I love to do paper work and file papers and with the degree, I have so many opportunities,” Teirra said.
After she graduates, her goal is to “get a decent job” to start off her career.
Teirra has several people who have supported her endeavor.
“I would like to thank my best friends, Brandi and Kaisey, for never giving up on me,” Teirra said. “They always pushed me and supported me with everything. I would also like to thank my mother and grandmother; they both are my role models and my main supporters.”
