Huntington and Beckley Online Nursing
5514 Big Tyler Road | Cross Lanes, WV | 25313
The online Nursing program for Beckley and Huntington area students benefits from having the WVJC Charleston campus as the home campus location. In addition, online nursing students benefit from having administration, staff, and nursing faculty located in Charleston.
West Virginia Junior College (WVJC) was established in 1892 in Charleston, West Virginia. Subsequently, WVJC spread its career-focused training to other areas of West Virginia by opening campuses in Bridgeport and Morgantown.
WVJC offered its first nursing program at the Morgantown campus in 2011. Since then, our associate degree in nursing program launched at the Bridgeport and Charleston campuses. WVJC Online was started in 2013, taking advantage of evolving technologies allowing students the flexibility to obtain their degrees from the comfort of their own homes. In 2021, WVJC offered its inaugural online nursing program, allowing students the opportunity to fulfill their dreams of a nursing career.
“The staff members are absolutely amazing and want nothing more than for you to succeed. They will work with you in times of need to ensure you are well-connected with your professors.”
– Lindsey Tenpenny, WVJC Student
