How to Enroll in Fall Classes
in the Covid-19 Era

Covid-19—it is on everyone’s mind as the pandemic continues to sweep the nation. One may wonder how it will affect going to college. It is a valid concern in the age of uncertainty.MOTOWN COVID Blog e1600437181170 | WVJC

We are taking all necessary safety precautions when it comes to Covid-19 at WVJC. Students, staff, and faculty all wear masks indoors. Everyone gets their temperature taken with a forehead thermometer upon entering the campus. Employees and students alike sign-in on a form stating that the person has not recently traveled, does not have any symptoms, or has been around anyone with known symptoms. Regular hand washing is highly encouraged. Hand sanitizer stations are also available for use.  Our cleaning crew is working tirelessly to make sure our learning environments are sanitized and squeaky clean. When going to college, one should only have to worry about focusing on their education, and we are taking all precautions so that our students at WVJC can do just that.

At WVJC, we continue to provide our online learning platform for students who want to further their education. For our on-campus programs, we have developed a synchronous learning platform that has all of the advantages of taking classes on-campus, but do so from the safety of the students’ homes. As soon as it is safe to do so, we will have our on-campus programs back on campus. It is important to us at WVJC that the safety of our students in their schooling remains a top priority.

In this age of uncertainty, we have made the necessary changes to adapt so our students can continue with their education. Do not let Covid-19 derail your plans to attend college. Your future and financial security are still of the utmost importance to us at WVJC. We look forward to having you as a student come Fall in the Covid-19 era.
