Vanessa Partain graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Since graduating from WVU, Mrs. Partain has worked for several different types of dental offices – from small towns to big cities, like Nashville, TN. While living in West TN, Mrs. Partain became certified in the administration of local anesthesia and nitrous oxide, and trained in the ZOOM! Whitening system procedure. Mrs. Partain has been with WVJC – Bridgeport since September of 2012 where she teaches dental assisting courses and serves as the Dental Program Coordinator. Along with teaching, she arranges externship sites for students with local dental offices. Mrs. Partain is a member of the ADHA and the ADEA. She was born and raised in Enterprise, WV and is proud to be a coal-miner’s daughter. Mrs. Partain was a member of “The Pride of WV” – the WVU marching band – and because of that, she has performed in various football stadiums across the nation, including the Superdome and Giants Stadium! Outside of work, she enjoys watching and playing a number of sports, fishing and camping with her husband, and just relaxing at home with her family.
