WVJC Online held a nursing pinning ceremony on June 17, 2023, to honor the May 2023 Registered Nurse graduates. This is the very first class of online nurses from WVJC! The ceremony was held in Charleston, WV, as it was the most central location for these widespread graduates. A pinning ceremony is an important moment for these aspiring nurses. Each nurse selects a friend or family member to pin them at the ceremony. The graduates also take a moment to recite the Nightingale Pledge.
The crowd was filled with loved ones showing their support for the graduates. Smiles, laughs, and tears of joy filled the room at the conclusion of the ceremony. WVJC is proud of our nursing graduates, and we wish them the best in their new careers!
