This week, information technology students taking Introduction to Computer Hardware had the incredible experience building their own computers from the ground up. The entire group came up with a build for the computers, where they picked all the components and assembled them under instruction from one of our IT faculty. The students have $1,000 each to decide on the build for their computers. They will continue to use the computer throughout their program and then get to keep them for personal use. This project is as hands-on as possible, trains our IT students, and prepares them for their careers.
