WVJC offers Medical Assisting students a pathway to nursing school. Spending 12 months in the accelerated Clinical Medical Assistant program to help prepare students for the Nursing program. Learning medical skills in a hands-on environment is the key to their success.
Micah and Joey, two current WVJC students, discuss their experiences with the medical assistant courses at WVJC near the end of their programs and prepare to start the Nursing program in the fall. Watch as they work in the lab and discuss what the pathway program means.
