What You Will Learn from Our Dental Assisting Program
When you complete the requirements to gain your Dental Assisting degree, you will ultimately graduate with a wide variety of new skills and abilities, such as learning how to:

As one of your dental assistant requirements at WVJC, you will complete an externship within the program. This on-the-job training allows you to apply the skills you’ve learned in the real world with real people. This experience is invaluable and allows you to showcase your skills to the employers in your area who hire dental assistants.
When you complete our dental assistant classes, you will be qualified to sit for the Nationally Registered Dental Assistant certification*.
