What Kind of Hands-On Skills Will You Learn at WVJC?

Today, watch Ezra Dolan, West Virginia Junior College’s Information Technology Specialist, and one of his information technology students, Evan Warner, perform the proper way to add an IP address on a Cisco Router.

Learning how to correctly put an IP address on a Cisco Router is one of the first skills that information technology students learn here at WVJC. Putting an IP address on a router allows you to set up static routes with other routers and switches. This is an essential entry-level skill, and IT students will use this knowledge through all of their networking courses.  This demonstration will inform you of that process and guide you in learning a new skill. Enjoy!
