CLASS STRUCTURE:

United Career Institute is the newest addition in a family of academic institutions from WVJC that have been successfully offering career training to students like you for many years. United offers its students TEAS Prep Course training through WVJC Online, an online school with programs for students in Pennsylvania and the neighboring states of West Virginia, Maryland, Ohio, Virginia, and Kentucky.

The WVJC Online TEAS Course is set up like a regular class that most students are familiar with. The program consists of three modules, English/Writing, Math, and Science that reflect the content of the TEAS Exam. Each module has a defined start and end dates with due dates for assignments.

  • Instructor Driven

Each module has an instructor to help teach the material to the TEAS class students. The instructor supports the student every step of the way including reviewing assignments, providing direction, navigating the online features of the class, and coaching and motivating students to continue pursuing their nursing dreams.

  • Content Remediation

One of the strongest features of the WVJC Online TEAS class is remediation of course content students may have difficulty with. The online platform will continue to provide additional instruction and prepare questions until students reach a comprehension of the material suggesting preparedness for the TEAS of that content.

  • Tutoring Services

In addition to the TEAS course providing an instructor for regular module course work, and instructor supported remediation, individual tutoring services are offered at no additional financial investment.

  • Tech Support and TEAS Practice Exam

Students have access to 24/7 tech support and your instructor will arrange for you to take practice TEAS exams until you are ready to take the actual exam. These features require no additional financial investment.
