Stephanie Kapp – Student Highlight

Stephanie Kapp | WVJC
Stephanie Kapp graduated from Riverside High School in 2018. She learned about WVJC when Stephanie the high school admissions rep, visited Riverside to set up a lunch table and share information about the school. After learning about the school, Stephanie thought it would be a perfect fit. She would be able to remain close to her family, gets to graduate with a degree in 18 months, and liked the small atmosphere.

Stephanie is enrolled in the Clinical Medical Assistant program and loves every minute of it. “I have always helped the elderly and I want to continue to do so in my career as a Medical Assistant!” Her favorite teacher is Mrs. B. “She is an inspiration because she graduated from WVJC and has worked as a medical assistant. I feel like we can learn so much from her. My favorite part about attending here is the teachers. They really do care about your success in the classroom and are willing to go above and beyond to help you with anything you need help with.”

In 5 years, Stephanie sees herself working in geriatrics, either in a hospital or doctor’s office. She would like to have her own house and have a couple of kids.
