Pharmacy Technician
Externship Coordinator

Description: Develop and maintain externship sites and place students in externship sites. Monitor students while on externships site by making regular contact with the externship site and student. Maintain accurate and organized documentation related to externships. Teach courses as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in the specialty field or subject area in which they teach. -Required unless candidate meets experience requirement listed below.
• 3 years of full-time occupational experience- Required
• Either a licensed pharmacist or currently certified pharmacy technician by a nationally recognized and accredited credentialing agency and in good standing with the respective state board. -Required
• Teaching Experience- Preferred
