WVJC Regional Director of Admissions Kellie Moore, and WVJC Associate Director of Admissions, Sheena Pack went live on WSAZ Studio 3 to share with Huntington, Charleston, and the surrounding areas the exciting news of the WVJC and CAMC partnership

West Virginia Junior College (WVJC) in Charleston has provided West Virginia students with career-ready education experiences for over 130 years. By offering programs that align with the community’s employment needs. WVJC graduates are prepared to enter the workforce upon graduation with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their chosen fields. 

The partnership between WVJC School of Nursing and Charleston Area Medical Center at Vandalia Health allows students to complete their registered nursing* program in only 18 months utilizing a hybrid-online delivery method; students can expect to complete classes online, then practice their nursing skills at CAMC facilities or in one of three WVJC state-of-the-art Mobile Simulation Labs (MNLs). These MNLs are the first of their kind in the state of West Virginia and are equipped with simulation mannequins for nursing training. 

Students interested in this innovative nursing program are eligible for state and federal financial aid if they qualify. Additionally, the CAMC foundation provides up to $30,000 in tuition assistance in exchange for an employment commitment upon program completion.
