Kelly Pauley, MSN, RN – Nursing Program Director
As one of the newest members to the WVJC family, Kelly Pauley brings over a decade of experience in the nursing field. First obtaining her associate degree from West Virginia State University, she quickly made the decision to pursue her BSN at West Virginia University and then her MSN from Chamberlain University. Along the way, she has become certified in Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Crisis Prevention training (CPI). In 2012, Kelly received the Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) Award of Excellence in Professional Nursing. Over the years, Kelly has sharpened her nursing skills at Charleston Area Medical Center (Charleston, WV), Select Specialty Hospital (Charleston, WV), Allina Health Unity Hospital (Minneapolis MN), United Hospital Center (Bridgeport, WV), Beckley Appalachian Regional Healthcare (Beckley, WV) and University of Virginia Medical Center (Charlottesville, VA). She is a member of the West Virginia League for Nursing, the Association of Deans and Directors of Nursing Education (ADDNE), and the West Virginia Nurses Association.
She is very proud and excited to join the WVJC team and share her knowledge and experience with future WVJC nursing students.
