CHARLESTON, WV – On March 20, 2014 WVJC Charleston hosted its first Career Fair of the year. Students and alumni descended upon the campus to speak with area employers about part-time and full-time job opportunities. Local companies from the healthcare, business, legal, customer service and IT fields were willing and excited to meet with students.
Charleston Career Management Director, Kayla Donathan, was in charge of the fair. “It’s a really great opportunity to help students who are looking for work during their time in school. Additionally, it allows those who are getting ready to graduate or have graduated the opportunity to get their career goals moving in the right direction. It was great seeing so many students take initiative to better their professional lives.”
WVJC Charleston would like to offer a huge thank you to the companies that participated. They were: Express Employment, Papa John’s, Kanawha Valley Senior Services, Charleston Gardens, United Bank, CASCI, Adecco, SweetBriar Assisted Living, Legal Temporary Services, Aflac and ResCare.
