BRIDGEPORT, WV – Michelle Riggs, an instructor at West Virginia Junior College Bridgeport Campus, sees herself as a facilitator and a cheerleader for her students.
“I am there to guide them through this educational experience and to cheer them on,” she said. “I love watching the students grow and thrive. There is nothing more rewarding than to see the students succeed, whether it is their first A on a big test or when they start their career. It is just so nice to be a part of this process.”
Michelle lives in Bridgeport with her husband, Dan. They have two children together, 18-year-old Carrington and 13-year-old Chase.
In her free time, Michelle likes to walk, read mystery novels and spend time with her family and friends.
The Riggs are big fans of the West Virginia University Mountaineers, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Philadelphia Phillies.
