As the West Virginia Junior College Nursing Admissions Representative, Nancy Regalbuto said her favorite part of the job is being able to develop relationships with people who truly care about their careers and futures.
“It excites me when they (are accepted), and it makes me so happy to see them fulfill their dreams,” Nancy added.
Nancy joined the WVJC admissions team in late April. Prior to, Nancy worked at Joyce’s Jewelry as a sales consultant. She also worked for Designs for Visino where she sold surgical loupes.
Originally from Baltimore, Nancy moved back to Morgantown in 2010, because she loves the atmosphere of the town. Nancy is a graduate of West Virginia University where she majored in multidisciplinary studies, including advertising, communications and sociology.
While at WVU, Nancy was a high jumper on the track team. She still stays active and enjoys running and working out.
She also loves moves, of all kinds, she said. She’s also a fan of the theater and enjoys seeing local productions.
She said she hopes her potential nursing students, “Never sell themselves short.”
“Some people go through the process, and they never believe they will be accepted,” Nancy said. “Never doubt what you can achieve.”
