In a tough economy, employers are striving to make smart decisions on new hires. Did you know that you have a local, community-oriented college training students in skill-specific programs that meet your hiring needs?

Before you pay the money to run an advertisement in the newspaper or online, call the Career Management Director at your local West Virginia Junior College! We can send you resumes of qualified students and graduates, invite you to our campus to host interviews or provide you with a quality extern to obtain hands-on experience at your organization… for free.

West Virginia Junior College students complete programs in 18 months. During that time, they focus studies on core general education courses which emphasize the ‘soft skills’ of a professional employee and develop experience and skills in a hands-on learning environment.

Every student at West Virginia Junior College is required to complete an externship in their field of study which equips them to graduate with additional skills, hands-on experience and professional experience in the workplace!

WVJC is proud to graduate qualified and employable students every six weeks in a variety of fields including allied health, dental, business, IT, legal and pharmacy. Additionally, we offer programs in nursing and LPN. For more information about our programs, please visit www.wvjc.edu.
